Does Sting deserve to be in the WWE Hall of Fame?
I realize he only wrestled one match in the WWE, [the final match of WCW Nitro was Flair vs. Sting, and that was a WWE produced show], however, you also have to consider the fact that WWE now owns WCW, and all the history that comes with it.
Thoughts?

I think he deserves the invitation, whether he accepts is the only problem I see with it.

He deserves it as WCW was merged into WWE, but not till he's done in TNA.

I'm sure he'll be in if he accepts the invitation. I could go either way. If he's never in I won't care as much like I do with Randy Savage or someone more deserving who actually worked for WWE.

I think the WWE has got to extend the invitation. It's an 'obligation' that came with buying the company - taking care and looking out for the former promotion's talent and legacy. It'll also only help to continue to build the WWE's legacy.
And all that said -- I think they'll do it. Ron Simmons got inducted this year and I'd argue his best days were the late 80's and early 90's of WCW (when he became the first african-american heavyweight champion). This tells me the WWE is willing to 'accept' this obligation of enshrining historically appropriate WCW/NWA entertainers.
