John Morrison has been gone from the WWE since November of last year. At one time I thought he was going to be a main eventer, but then after a while I started to see things more the way Vince does. He doesn't come off as someone who can legit kick someone's ass. He's more of a great gymnast than a wrestler and his mic skills sucked to put it plain and simple. Don't try to tell me the people either have promo skills or not, it can be developed. Compare Daniel Bryan to his NXT days to now, to back that point up.
However, some thought he was great. I thought he was fine as a midcard babyface, but I haven't missed him or thought about him since he's been gone so how do you guys feel? I'm almost certain we'll see him in WWE again, but I wouldn't say they need him.

There ya go. That's how I think most feel. It's certainly not like when Daniel Bryan or even when Matt Hardy got released (years back, not the last time) and there was this demand for their return. Haven't heard anyone say "Wow, WWE could use John Morrison right now".

He did an interview with Wade Keller of PW Torch a couple weeks ago, and he didn't come across as the most friendly guy in the world. I know that doesn't matter a whole lot, but he needs fans to go out of their way to see him at indies now, and his attitude just didn't sit right for me.
I don't miss him.

Hate that. He was just building momentum when he left WWE. Maybe he and Melina are the basis for the D Bags Jason Sudeikis and Kristen Wiig played on SNL.

One of the big problems with Morrison was that he performed. He never made it look like a fight. It was merely steps to lead into a more lucha/parkour style. That's the thing with most of the lighter, athletic guys is they still make it look like a fight. JoMo never did, and it hurt him, despite his athletic ability.
Melina drama didn't help either, but I think the statements above really define why they didn't invest any more time in him.

Funny thing with Morrison is the guy's hilarious. I met him a couple of time over Mania week last year, and he had me in stitches for most of the time. For some reason he wasn't able to transfer that on to TV.
I enjoyed his wrestling style though, as it was pretty unique in WWE, and they could've easily pushed him as an arrogant, narcissistic heel because he's a decent looking guy, pretty much just give him a PG version The Scene in Evolve/DGUSA.

For some reason he wasn't able to transfer that on to TV. True, but they did so on the web when he was teaming with Miz. They had a YT or WWE.com show, and those two were brilliant. Morrison just never seemed to be able to romance the mic on TV.
