First and foremost I just want to say I'm so happy John Canton has a proper forum for his readers, it's much easier for us all to mingle in a forum format than on Facebook! Well every forum should have a thread for introductions, so I thought I'd start one! So... introduce yourself! My name is John, I'm 23 years old, living in North Wales in the UK. I'm an administrator as a way of making money. In my spare time I'm also a writer, I write about wrestling, and three other topics close to my heart, music, video games and football (or soccer as Americans call it). I've been following Mr Canton for a good nine or ten years. He's a huge inspiration to me, if it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be writing on the internet. I have no problems saying that on his public forum, and I don't want to people to perceive me as brown nosing, I've told him this direct on a few occasions and JC and I have spoken a few times on his Facebook. One of the first major articles that I read that John Canton wrote was his Top 50 PPV Matches between 2000 and 2004, that was an excellent piece of work. Another early(ish) piece was how he saw the shape of wrestling of the future forming in the hands of John Cena, Randy Orton and Batista. Great articles. And I've followed his work ever since. Enough about him though! ;D So introduce yourself! Where are you from, what do you do? How did you start following John Canton and his work?

I'm Joe, and while I'm not going geek type work, I'm one of the voices on the FTW Podcast (a wrestling podcast). I'm just around to talk some wrestling with some good people.

My name's Yuval, I'm probably the only Israeli John Canton fan around. I'm 17 y/o and have been an avid Cantonist since Wrestlemania 25 when I got back into wrestling, so I consider myself to be one of the veterans around here [although I'm sure there are still a few people who have been following him since 2005 or so]. I'm a high school student in my senior year, and that's about it.

Good thread. I like reading people's stories of how they are wrestling fans or how they found our site. That's awesome. Keep it coming.

HELLO!
My name is Adam Skinner, im 28 from Kitchener, Ontario Canada (just a short 1 hour away from Mr. Canton).
Ive been watching wrestling heavily since 1995. My first REAL wrestling experience was watching the 1995 Royal Rumble on a TV Cart in my grade 6 classroom during lunch. I had no idea who anyone was, but for whatever reason I was drawn to Shawn Michaels, who ended up winning! Since then, HBK fan for life.
After the Royal Rumble was over, I saught out the guy who brought the tape in, and he basically kinda explained wrestling to me, and we became friends, played all the WWF videogames, rented old tapes and I brushed up on what I had missed.
My dad HATES wrestling, still does to this day, why? I assume because hes an idiot...
My first WWF live experience was a house show at the Skydome (yes a HOUSE show at the skydome) in 1996... Main event was Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart vs Psycho Sid. Since then ive gone to at least 1 wrestling event a year. Got to go to my first WWF PPV in Hamilton to see BREAKDOWN! Ive seen a few WCW events, a TNA event, some local wrestling shows, and ive been to 2 Wrestlemanias 18 & 23.
I started reading Johns reports via rajah.com ages and ages ago, and really took a liking to how he wrote. Ive been following him ever since!
In my personal life, I am married with a 6 (almost 7) year old step son! I work in Toronto at Corus Entertainment as a Master Control Operator! I love Ghostbusters a LOT! its kind of a sickness.
I like to make silly videos on the internet, and attempt to troll most people, its fun.... Here is a Shawn Michaels tribute video I made. The voice, my actions, are all put on for the greater good of the video. Shawn is my favourite wrestler of all time, but I wanted to have a little fun with the video, so I hope you all enjoy!
Looking forward to forum chatting with everyone!

My name is Brian. I'm 27 and I'm from a small city right outside Detroit, Michigan. I've been a wrestling fan my entire life, which is surprising considering my entire family thinks it's the dumbest thing ever. I'm currently a student studying criminal justice and I do odd jobs here and there for side money. I first came across Canton on Rajah in 2005, I followed him to The Oratory and I've been a fan ever since. I'm a staple every Monday for Commentfest so if you like bad jokes made by wrestling fans with too much time on their hands, come join us.
