yeah, it may be early. But take a guess. Who will represent the NFC and the AFC in the super bowl this year? Will there be a darkhorse that emerges? Will the same teams continue to dominate in the AFC? Are the niners the team to beat after coming inches from getting to the super bowl last year?

My early pick is Packers vs. Texans. I'll write a full preview on TJRSports soon, but that's what I'm rolling with for now.
I really like the Eagles as a NFC team that could be really strong. They have so much talent.

Complete shot in the dark but Lions and Ravens, as long as the Lions aren't all in jail.

49'ers and the Patriots is my guess.
Texans and Ravens and possibly steelers (they always seem to be there or thereabouts come playoff time) will also challenge in the AFC
The NFC seems stacked. Packers will be tough, Eagles have talent, as do Cowboys while Giants will be in with a chance and Lions and Bears being the outside bets.

Patriots and Green Bay. That's trying to be unbiased, too, but for S's and G's my non-Patriots pick is the Texans if they stay healthy. They weren't that bad last year with a carousel of QB's.

I think those are good picks too. Bears were in NFC title game two years ago, 7-3 last year when Cutler went down and they finally got an elite WR now with Brandon Marshall. Pats improved their defense. They can certainly go back.

Cutler and Marshall will be good, but the work horse will be forte, before he got hurt the was playing like a mad men, and the bears have a defense that isnt maybe as scary as past year, but still very good.
The Patriots got younger on defense, and smarter on offense, and tom brady has let it be known, he wants to win. New England could be alot of fun to watch. ;D

Green Bay v New England.
I love San Francisco, but I just think Green Bay is too good. And as much as I hate New England (fuck Boston), you cannot ever count them out.

Pats improved their defense. They can certainly go back. Got there last year with the 2nd worst ranked defense in the NFL and Ocho No-Show wasting space. idk about the Bears. Every year they seem like a team to keep your eye on, but then something happens to them.

The Bears, to me, are kind of like the Cowboys in that every year there's a lot of talk about them and how this is their year, and people pick them to go far... then inevitably they underachieve, be it from injuries or from simply not living up to the hype, or from Cutler being Cutler.

I like the Texans pick. I was a year early in predicting their playoff appearance and theyve steadily worked to have a D to go with that potent O. But they wont make the big dance. Im not buying into NE. I could see the Ravens getting one more for Ray Lewis. I think the Lions need another year to get their shit straight, particularly off the field. But Id like to see them get there. NFC is hard to gauge. Atl could surprise. GB has an almost open invite each year, but Id like to see SF get in. Of course this is early conjecture. So I will likely change my story midseason.
