I understand what Nash is saying. Hell, up until the last year or two I personally felt the same way to an extent. That said, I'm coming around. Let the right guys work together, trust them to tell the right story in the ring and book the right ending and you can make anyone look credible.
And personally I've always argued the business 'died' after the Benoit thing. Rating numbers seem to back that theory up, though I'm sure there were 'cracks in the foundation' long prior to that.

Personally I think we shall all give Kevin Nash a break because, as our Ayatollah has reminded us kindly on Twitter, he probably tore a quad talking such shit.

I bet Nash would love a Wrestlemania headlined by Great Khali vs Giant Gonzalez

I'll be the first to admit I used to be a big fan of Kevin Nash. After his recent comments, and rants with little substance, and I can cleary say that I no longer am. Make up your mind Nash! You wanna work with Punk so bad, and reform the NWO...I guess that was shot down quick, because Punk became a Vanilla Midget again pretty damn quick.

...and reform the NWO...I guess that was shot down quick, because Punk became a Vanilla Midget again pretty damn quick. If that was really an idea being considered (I don't think it was) then I'm glad it was shot down. We don't need an nWo reincarnation in 2012.

Even tho I feel Nash reaches for attention, I believe he's got a point to an EXTENT.
When looking at the wrestlers that made a HUGE impact on ratings, wrestling in the mainstream, and took WWE to the top, they have been larger than life guys. Hogan, Austin, Rock. All over 6'2 245 lbs.
Now, i've been watching wrestling for over 25 years. So I can appreciate LITTLE things that most if not all of you can. Workrate, getting heat, gestures, what makes a good match, etc etc.. However, WWE's goal is to get the fans NOT watching to watch. Even though wrestling gets at EXTREMELY low points, a lot of us are staying forever.. Whether we hate Cena or love him, we're always going to watch or read about wrestling, always looking for a great match to watch, and always looking for the next best thing.
Personally, I truly believe WWE can do SO much better in booking, however it's going to take a new face and someone to burst in the scene to make such an impact and I don't see that from anyone right now. As of now wrestling will go up a tad, and down a tad. Nothing dramatic.
With that being said, I feel Nash is basically saying that. Realistically, would Rock and Austin been popular if Austin was Taz size? What about Hogan? I doubt it.. Take away the hate, politics, bullshit Nash spews and he does have a point.
Is it KILLING or KILLED wrestling? No way, not by a long shot. I love seeing guys like Daniel Bryan. However there are points he has. But wrestling won't die because of it.

It kinda makes me wonder if the rant he did after Punk turned on Rock was sarcastic. lol.
